PPMGC Local Rules
1. USGA Rules govern all play.
2. Club events will be conducted on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
3. In order to be eligible for the day's events, you must post your score in the computer before the golf shop closes for the day.
4. If a minimum of 5 players from each class do post scores on a given day, that day's event is considered cancelled.
5. Each group must have a minimum of two PPGMC members to be eligible for Men's Club events.
6. Members are required to sign the proper events sheet prior to playing. Be sure you record your score hole by hole on the proper event sheets.
7. All scores must be entered in the computer for handicap purposes, then stamped "posted." If your score is not entered, you will receive a penalty score.
8. All scorecards must be clean and legible. Cards must be filled out completely including first and last name, date, gross score, current handicap, net score, ESC score and each players signature. All away scorecards must contain slope and course ratings.
9. New members must post 5 rounds to establish a handicap.
10. It is your responsibility to have your current handicap on all events sheets. New handicaps are posted bi-weekly.
11. If you refuse to compete on the 16/24 Man Team without a valid reason, the Board of Directors has the right to disqualify you from competing in the Club Championships.
12. Reminder: all putts must be holed out - no gimmies!
13. Local Rule: members may remove rocks or stones from bunkers during PPMGC events.
Golf Course Etiquette
• Play without delay, keep up to the group in from of you, not the group behind you.
• Carry an extra ball to speed up play.
• Replace divots through the green.
• Repair your ball mark plus one.
• Leave the course better than you found it.
• Keep carts away from greens and tees, observe course markings.
• Be considerate of others on the cources, including their safety.
• Par 3 holes: whenver possible, wave up the group waiting on the tee behind you...if you are waved up, after the players have teed off, proceed halfway to the green and stop. Wait until players in front of you have putted out, then proceed to your ball.
